Health Benefits of consuming Almond milk or Badam milk-
This is the extremely healthy recipe for shedding little calories. It is rich in many macro and micronutrients like – calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, iron, sodium, potassium, and zinc. Badam milk is full of healthy Vitamins too! Notably, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Thiamine, Riboflavin, Vitamin B6 and Folic Acid. Therefore, these nutrients offer protection from various chronic illnesses.
Ingredients for preparing Almond Milk-
To prepare 750 ml of this healthy badam milk, you require:
- One cup of Almonds (About 35-40 in quantity) – Soaked overnight in clean water
- Dates – 7 to 8 in quantity, deseeded.
- Water – 750 ml
Place almonds, dates and water in a blender jar to blend smoothly. Blend until a smooth consistency is reached.
Once done, use a sieve to strain the mixture and discard all the leftover thick matter. Finally, transfer the clear content to a glass container, and refrigerate. Consume the refrigerated Almond milk within 5 to 6 days.
Caution: Add water to the blender in a step by step to avoid spillage and for easy blending of the contents.
